About us
An independent workplace communication utility
We make a small, deliberate tool for a very common problem: professional language that does not say what it means.
What this site is
Corporate Decrypter Pro is a satire and productivity hybrid. The satire is in the framing: we take the language of professional life seriously enough to translate it honestly. The productivity is in the output: each message produces three usable registers, any of which you can copy and send in seconds.
The site is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any employer, HR platform, law firm, or professional body. Nothing published here is a product of a human resources department, and no employer has any say in what we publish.
How translations are produced
The decrypter uses automated language processing. When you submit a message, it is sent to our translation service and returned as three rewritten versions plus an evasion score. The glossary entries are written and edited by us, then expanded with the same automated process so that every phrase gets a consistent brutal, polite, and retaliation rendering.
Automated translation is a lens, not a verdict. It can misread tone, miss context, and flatten a joke into an insult. Treat the output as a prompt for your own judgement, especially before you send anything to a colleague, client, or manager.
Editorial standards
- Clarity over cleverness. If a translation needs explaining, it gets rewritten.
- No punching down. The humour is aimed at corporate language and structures, never at individual people, protected groups, or anyone's identity.
- Usable work. Every output is written so it could plausibly be sent in a real workplace without embarrassing the sender.
- No advice. We explain language. We do not provide legal, HR, employment, or mental health advice, and we never will.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use and funded by automated display advertising and, occasionally, affiliate links. Advertising is labeled, kept away from the interactive parts of the tool, and has no influence on a translation, a glossary entry, or an editorial decision. Full details are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
