Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have, including the cookies used for advertising and analytics.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Corporate Decrypter Pro, an independent publisher of workplace communication tools. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, the operator is the data controller for the limited processing described below. You can reach us using the contact address published on our About page.
2. Information you give us
You can use the decrypter without creating an account. When you submit a message, the text is transmitted to our translation service so that a result can be generated and returned to you. We do not use submitted messages to build a profile of you, we do not sell them, and we do not retain them in a user account, because this site has no user accounts.
Please do not paste information you are not permitted to share, such as trade secrets, customer records, medical details, or other people's personal data. The tool works perfectly well on a lightly disguised version of the message.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our third-party partners collect standard technical information when you visit: a truncated or hashed IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense
This site displays advertising supplied by Google and its partners, and we may earn revenue when ads are shown or clicked. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Ad slots are labeled and placed so they do not overlap or interfere with the interactive parts of the tool. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are opted out by default: no advertising or analytics cookies are set for them, and advertising is not personalized, until consent is given. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and which need improvement. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects a shortened IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view. That data is aggregated and used for product decisions, not to identify individuals. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
6. Legal bases for processing
- Consent for advertising and analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary, and for any personalized advertising.
- Legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional website and understanding aggregate usage.
- Performance of a service you requested when we process the message you submit in order to return a translation.
7. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access your personal data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the address published on our About page.
8. Your rights under CCPA/CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, disclosed, or sold; the right to delete; the right to correct; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense. Sharing data with advertising partners for personalized advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "share" under the CPRA, and you can opt out using the cookie controls described above.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults in a working context and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers and retention
We and our service providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Aggregate analytics and advertising data are retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described here.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes or the law requires. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
